Can anyone give me a hand (or some reassurance)? We've been TTC for a while, and when I visited the Dr last week, she was quite confident that I haven't actually been ovulating. I've got some tests scheduled to check it out, and an appointment at Fertility Associates next month.
I've got to have some bloods taken on day 2 of my next cycle. Which should be any day now - I'm on day 61 of my cycle... but AF hasn't arrived. My cycles are quite irregular, but the longest before this has been 56 days. Should I be worrying (I am, of course) or should I just assume she'll arrive in her own good time????

If your AF hasnt arrived by your FA appt, they may give you some meds like provera to induce your AF. My longest cycle was 72 days, went to FA had a scan and found I had PCOS and now on clomid because I wasnt ovulating my cycles were all over the show, now I'm ovulating and my cycles are 27-29 days.
Dont worry just yet, that may prolong your AF even more, just relax (I know easier said than done). FA are really good. Fx for a quick diagnosis

Thanks... I guess I'll just wait and see. I got a little worried because on all the stuff FA sent us, they stressed the importance of having those day 2 tests done... and if AF doesn't turn up, I won't have day two. Although I've got over a month till the appointment... so surely, at some point before then she'll arrive. If she doesn't, I guess I'll call them and see what they say.

It won't matter too much if you can't do your day 2 bloods before your appointment I don't think. They'll get you to do a scan to check for PCOS anyway. I think day 2 bloods are more of a double check.
My AF goes walkabout for a few months each year so I knew I had PCOS before it was confirmed via a scan. I'd had my day 2 bloods done months before my scan and neither my GP nor my specialist commented on any abnormalities.
