As you are all aware, over the past few weeks the forums have been running slower than usual and we have been experiencing a few problems. Our tech team have told us that this is due to the size of the forums - we are just too popular!  We have undertaken two server upgrades, but unfortunately this hasn't fixed the problem. However - the end is in sight!
Early next week, we will be moving to a brand new server which is far better equipped to cope with the amount of traffic the forums have. This means that by the middle-end of next week, we should be back to lightening speed again  (assuming, of course, that you are using a broadband connection ).
The server transfer will take several hours, and this does mean that we will need to be offline for a period of time. I will let you all know closer to the time when this is likely to be so you don't all panic and go into withdrawal 
I'd also just like to say a huge thank you to all of you for sticking with us, I know how much frustration these technical issues have caused and believe me, we have all been working really hard behind the scenes to try and resolve them - our poor technical team have had Grumpy Emma ringing them every day for updates 
We really, really appreciate all of you and the sense of community there is here on the forums, and I look forward to seeing you around the boards soon
