Are they any good???

It gets so hard trying to bath DD as she moves heaps etc, so i never leave her in the bath for long because it gets way to hard on my back.

She is way to big for baby bath now!!

Are the bath supports or bath seats any good????

TIA Sabrina

We used ours when Mika was just born. I felt so much safer with the bath support. I would support her head, but her body would lie on the bath support, and she looked so comfy and happy. But from 5 weeks onwards we've been showering her.

I am thinking though we'd probably still use it if we were to bath her.

I used one of http://www.babyfactory.co.nz/products/group/37/page/2/style/41999/ - these for Ashleigh and found it a lifesaver. I used it until she could confidently sit by herself in the bath. It saved my back plus I had both hands free to wash her etc. And it is very supportive so the baby feels safe but is still able to kick and splash.

I use a bath support with Nova and its brilliant - just a towelling one. I have put her in the big bath sometimes, just put a small amount of water in and I put a towel down, lay her in there and let her kick away. My GP recommended it when she was smaller and hated having baths. I just sit next to the bath and let her go for it. She can't slide around on the towel so shes completely safe and gives me both hands to wash her. She loves it! You do end up with a saturated towel mind you

Edited because of very poor grammar

I was looking at the plastic one as my friend uses one when she has both of her kids in her bath & I thought I might get one for the little man but am concerned that he might get squashed IYKWIM

I love our plastic bath support. It has been a real god send. Ava hated the bath before we started using it and now gets excited and stays in for much longer. It also means it doesn't take 2 of us to wash her.
