Jakes thinned out a little and he is getting the "wear" patch on the back. I read somewhere about putting a satin pillowcase under their head if you want to stop that wear mark.... I could certainly snip a lock if I wanted to.

Elizabeth started off with a fine down of strawberry fluff, but it all fell out overnight when she was about 4 weeks old. Now she has beautiful true red hair about an inch a half long and everybody comments on it!

My DS had a small amount of dark brown hair, it all fell out and grew back white blonde!

Sams hair didn't fall out, it just grew really really slowly until he was one and then it became quite curly. After his first hair cut it just stayed a straight medium brown colour. :D

Sam had a gorgeous head of dark hair when she was born, but lost it within a few weeks. She was then pretty much a baldy until she was just over 1 when she started getting real growth. In just over a year she has now grown a beautiful head full of blonde curls though so I can live with that

DD had lots of dark hair which all came out. She had a very bad "do" for quite a while - just a silly strip of a fringe along the top was left.
It grew in again much lighter - and even though she lost it all, she still has a lot more hair than many of her friends now.
OTher people I know who had bubs with lots of very dark hair also had it all come out.

When did all these babies loose their hair??
Jake's doesnt appear to be going anywhere but could it happen further down the track or is it something that would have happened by now??
Sorry to threadjack.

That's what I like to hear. Aoife is still pretty bald. She stares longingly or strokes Eimears hair and will hold clips & hair ties to her own hair so she can be like Mammy and Eimear.
Eimear never lost her head of hair when she was born, but it didn't grow much until about 10 months. Now we're thinking about a trim as she refuses to leave it tied up

Hannah looked like this at birth
Then gradually got to this at 6 months
Then started to grow back at about 8 months to look like this at 16 months
My ticker best represents her hair growth

Both my kids were born with a lot of hair, Janayas was jet black and really thick, she went bald at 4months but grew back hair rather quick; a light brown colour.
Jacksons was more like Hannahs above! And he turned bald and then blonde too!

Jaye lost a small patch of hair on the back of his head. My cousin recommended a satin pillow case but they are quite hard to find! The hair that he has grown since then is completely different to his furry baby down.

Finn was born with a lot of dark hair, he never lost any, he has already had two haircuts.
Its thin at the back so he looks quite like a monk, and its gone from dark to blond, but it did that gradually it a way that actually made some people question if I had given him highlights!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
