Does anyone have a Edinburgh Travel Booster Seat from Baby Factory? We have one and I can't figure out what one to the straps is for and can't see anything in the manual about it. It is attached to one of the sholder straps under the padded part, it is a strap probably about 15cm long and has a clip/hook on the end.
I wonder if it is used to somehow go across the body to attach to the other sholder strap so that Jack can't get his arms out of the straps - which he does when he wants to put the electric window down . But I can't quite work out how it goes. Does anyone know?

There are straps attached to both shoulder pads, one has a metal clip and the other one just has a loop, you combine them behind the seat and it holds the shoulder pads in place, is it those you are talking about?
If not I have to take mine out tomorrow as for some reason I can't loosen the straps and i will have a look and see if I can see what you are talking about.

I think its used when they are bigger and you are just using it as a booster with the seatbelt over the child rather than the 5 point harness. The extra strap holds the seatbelt down at the childs height rather than sitting up around their neck I think. Hope this helps.
