Lachlan has all these wee spots on his forehead/front of his scalp area, and the odd one on his face too.... he had a few when I was BF but now Im FF.... they seem to be worse in the last couple of days, but how do you know if it wouldve happened anyways, whether its 'milk spots' or a reaction to the formula??? We have FF for 3 weeks now so its not a sudden thing.... they just seem to be getting worse.
They are like little pimples that you wanna squeeze (I dont btw!!).
His skin is dry if anything, not oily.

Sounds like typical "milk spots". Try putting some aqueous cream on his face as it might be dry as others have said. We did this and Jake's baby acne cleared up in days.

If you are worried take him to the GP or see if your mw will come and have a quick look.

My Plunket nurse said if the spots spread down pass his nipple line on to his torso then its probably not milk spots and he needs to see a GP.

I found it so hard not to squeeze them!!!

My baby had hormone spots from 5wks-8wks from his head down to his groin and all over his back, my PN said that it was't normal to be past the nipple line, but the G.P. said it was fine and very normal. they sound quite normal, but get them checked out if you are worried, also the g.p will give you a big container of aqueous cream for them

Hi, not sure if this will help but my little one had white-head type spots on his belly and groin area. The midwife swabbed them and it turned out to be Staph Aureas (sp?). While we were waiting for the swab results, my midwife suggested dabbing a little Purell (the hand sanitiser) on them with a cotton bud. It worked and they started going away which is lucky because they were going to prescribe antibiotics.

Hope that helps.

Spencer and Kyle both had these for months, sorry. I think they cleared around 2.5-3 months. Is odd cos they look really bad then all of a sudden over night pretty much they disappear.
Another word for them is baby acne, one of the mw who saw us said that her spottiest baby was also her spottiest teenager, makes sense.
