Mine used to cry every time I wore a towel on my head in the morning. He also cried and screamed the other week when I came home from the hairdressers with a fringe!

aww, poor wee man! very cute though! Last week Nova was on her playmat playing with her musical toy going above her. It was running out of batteries so I asked DH to change them so the music wasn't so slow.. well after attempting to use a screwdriver to open the latch, he decided the electric drill would be quicker - with DD still lying there..  My poor baby screamed the house down as you can imagine and every now and again he taunts her by walking around making the drill sound - Yes he's a mad man!

Ella's terrified of Santa Claus- at the daycare xmas party she started crying as soon as she saw him and had to go into another room until he left. several other kids were also quite scared of him, appartently it is quite a common (and understandable) fear. ------------- Mum to Ella (5) and Tom (2) |

Wow, a few are quite scared of the vacuum yeah?! Jackson squeels with delight when I turn it ours on, he even claps his hands and chases me. When its not on he flips it upside down and spins the wheels

Eimear is scared of the vacuum cleaner. She runs to the other end of the house until I'm finished.
She was also petrified of balloons initially but has kinda gotten over it. They're both scared of the noise of tape coming off a box. |

Chloe hates having her hair washed too.
And she can't stand the Heffalump movie. She loves Winnie the Pooh but we haven't managed to get past the first ten mins of that movie, ever. She says "Uh Oh" whenever the TV gets turned off, does that count? Lol. ------------- Chloe (4 years) and Oliver (3 years). |

At the moment, the gremlins are scared of moths and gloves.

Whats Keira not scared of.... Dogs, cats (any animal 2, 4 6 or even 8 legged) Santa, costumed people...... Her latest is George off The Go Show.
Maddi is just scared of strange people and loud noises. Complete opposite to her sister. -------------

jett loves the vacum, he even turns it back on if ive turned it off.

(she is besotted with him already but realise things will change when he is here but she doesnt know how yet and she doesnt deal that well with the unknown.) DS is scared of the house alarm! He often gets the keys and manages to activate it, then panics and runs off crying and wimpering....
We have the occasional toy issue also, Liz - my brother gave DS a toy chain saw and it took a week before DS would even touch it. You would put it in the middle of the floor and he would walk circles around it. Now he plays with it quite happily, sound and all! -------------

Ethan used to be terrified when i even pulled out the vacuum cord but as if two days ago he got over it....no idea why:) he is still scared of my brother ...and my uncle both he hardly sees ...thought it was my bro in a wheelchair but he's seen others in chairs and not been scared so not sure what that's about he will cry till he leaves the room:(

Sam gets really upset when the Pinky Ponk from In the Night Garden flips upside down!
And he used to cry whenever Percy from Thomas crashed through the Chocolate Factory. He also gets annoyed and runs away screaming if I say 'cuddle me!' |

Blake is afraid of heaps..at the moment it is the rain...
A few weeks back it Was Diesel 10 off Thomas...now he is Diesel..apparently. He is frightened of big noises like Planes flying overhead or me growling....he says "Too Loud noise Mummy" and covers his ears or runs away. Brennan is not scared of anything. He would climb in our Vacuum Cleaner if he figured out how and is plain noisy. My boys are like chalk and cheese. -------------

Kaelen is terrified of the cats fighting. lol. Whenever he hears it he starts screaming. One of my male cats is a little sh*te and beats up one of the girls. He also freaked out when he saw a possum the other night. It was getting into the rubbish out on the deck and he saw it, freaked out and screamed. lol. The possum visits every night. I just don't tell DP that i leave apple out for it. Haha. He hates them. -------------

Jakes not scared of anything except aggression. If the dogs are playing hes fine, if they set into each other for real hes freaked. If the family is playfighting he thinks its hilarious, if he picks up on any aggression at all hes a hysterical little puddle. -------------

My DD is scared of people in costumes, Santa and people with face paint. Theirs also a rather strange lady at Nana's rest home who likes to hold DD's hand and talk to her that DD is petrified of.
My nephew is 4. He has weird phases when hes terrified of DF, one of his mum's brother in laws and one of my brother's workmates. Other times hes quite happy being around them. Last time we went to their house he hid round the back of the house screaming hysterically. Hes also scared of the trains that pass by their house every few hours. ------------- |

Ellas new thing (as of this morning) to be scared of is...her shadow. She noticed it when she was playing outside this morning and kept yelling 'go away' at it and I had to pick her up and take her inside. Jody is only just decided she is scared of the food processer. She looks pretty terrified if I blow my nose lately too but hasn't had a melt down just yet. She is scared of me when she bites me when I'm BFing her. Also, I can no longer sneak into her room to watch her sleep like some sort of loving mother enjoying the peace. She senses something, opens her eyes and screams like a maniac. -------------

Had to bring this one forward again.
We discovered tonight that Ryan is scared of my Dad's fluro yellow/reflector work jacket, he picked him up for a cuddle, Ryan tried so hard not to cry but couldn't help it lol. so cute! Those with kids who are scared of Santa, do you have any family with beards? Taine has always been a 'fraidy cat of weird random things. at the moment, he loves Baby einstein "on the go" and there is a baby in a wagon. he HATES that baby. and yells "THE BABY IS GOING TO GET ME" and hides behind the couch.
he also hates the bees in Winnie the pooh. -he's been better though - we explained that bees make honey (which he loves), so he sits, lips trembling, telling himself "bees make yummy honey for my sandwich...bees not going to get me...only on tv" |

Caden is scared of the ad about mysky with the all blacks and they have headphones on and are listening to a CD of the Aussie's winning the world cup or something.
Anyways, caden HATES that ad, when it comes on he cries and looks horrified, so we have to mute it lol Last night he was scared of a balloon, one of those long ones you twist into shapes, DH made Caden a hat and tried put it on his head and Caden was scared of it and ran away and hit behind my legs lol, it was cute as lol Edited so it makes sense lol ------------- |

Well we discovered last night that Emily doesn't like pen/ink on her hand  Just before bedtime she wanted a pen like daddy's, just a bic biro, to draw on some paper. She was happy drawing away while I watched TV. A few minutes later she came over to me screaming and shaking and held out her hand which she had drawn a line across her palm. Talk about freakout!!! So magic mummy promptly stuck her finger on tongue and rubbed the offending mark from Emily's palm. Panic over. She calmed down after that but was still freaking out when she went to bed - normally she goes down to sleep no problem, but last night she needed to be cuddled to sleep -------------
