Has anyone got any recommendations for kids sing-a-long DVD's, eg nursery rhymes etc? I would prefer ones that have kids singing the songs together and that shows them on the screen IYKWIM?

I bought one a few weeks ago and it is SHOCKING to say the least and looks like it was made in the 1980's by some opera singing lady LMAO

Lauren is not interested in it at all!!

TIA

We still have the love-to-sing DVD by Linda Adamson, im pretty sure you can still get it. Its a favourite in our house.

It doesnt show the words to the songs but it has children doing the actions. It has skinny marinky, incy wincy spider, old macdonald and a few others. You can probably youtube it and have a looksie to see it.

We have got the love-to-sing Zoo DVD which Ella LOVES- got it from the warehouse. there is quite a few in the series, and often your local video shop or library has some to borrow.

we also have a baby genius DVD (and CD) which doesn't have kids singing, but is still a big favourite here.

We have 4 of the love to sing dvds (favourites, toddler tunes, live with teddy bear and the zoo one) and they are great. Daniel goes and picks out a dvd and hands it to me every day lol

Ok so the Love to Sing ones sound good to me!

They don't need the words on the screen, thats cool, and the kids doing actions sound great!

Will check them out!

Thanks

peachy, The wiggles do a nursery rhyme DVD called "Pop go the Wiggles" and Bella is learning all the songs from it!! She's learned "Twinkle, twinkle little star" and "incy wincy spider" so far. Though she is very heavily into the wiggles at the moment which helps

Yep I second the Wiggles 'Pop go the Wiggles, and 'Sing a song of Wiggles'. Both dvd's have a list of the songs/ nursery rhymes on the back, and there are kids in quite a few of them too. Isla loves them.

I second Love to sing. We have one of the original dvd's that my sister copied. The songs are awful and the picture is very 90's (mega cheesy too) but H & E go mad for it! All 6 of my nieces and nephews have been avid fans as well.
