I was wondering, did you find it harder going from
1 child to 2 children?
or
2 children to 3 children?

Im starting to get scared lol It was really tough going from 1 child to 2 children because of what happened to aidan and the time we spent in hospital

i quiet often forget the third child. i think a lot has to do with what the childs personality is like.

I found it harder going from 2 to 3 children.  But then Gia was only 22 months and still just a baby herself, wasn't toilet trained, or sleeping through the night properly.  I think it depends on the age gaps between the 3rd child and the older 2.

I agree - it depends on the age gap, we have a 5 1/2 year gap, and it was really hard, especially as I had a difficult pregnancy and had to spend so much time in hospital after Dani was born. The sleepless nights were a distant memory - now very much a reality. On the good side I can rationalise with the older two when I have to feed etc and they understand, they can help me too (when they want to!!!)
Mornings are CHAOS getting everyone ready for school and out the door by 8.30!! But after that initial rush there is a bit of peace again until after school.

ENJOY!!

I def think the age gap makes a huge difference, 3 years between 1 & 2 and 2 & 3 but then only 15months between 3 & 4, 4 & 5 and the same will be when this little one is born. The first 3 were really managable but then when 4 and 5 arrived it was harder because they were still all so dependant on us, it still works just a wee bit harder in my opinion, GOOD LUCK

I can't really comment as we went from having 1 3-year old, fairly independent child to having 1 3-year old fairly independent child plus 2 demon babies from hell, so it was insanely hard.

I can say tho that going from 3 to 4 was a piece of cake. Yes, it was hard having 3 under 2 to start with and the gremlins were still pretty much babies themselves when lil miss arrived, but she's just kind of joined in the madness and cruised along with whatever we were doing.

i think it may also be personal experience - i found it much easier going from 2-3. age gap between 1 and 2 is 3.5 yrs and we were livng wiyh my mum, dh on acc etc but i still found it harder. age gap between 2 and 3 is 23 months and we now own our home and dh works long hours and #3 is so clingy but still once i got into a great routine it was sooo easy, i manage to get all kids ready by 8am, school drop offs, housework done by 10am and eirns run .....

youl find whats best for you

i found it alot harder going from 2 -3. but now that I'm used to it its pretty easy, there is a big age gap (DD1 9 yrs, DS 6 yrs and willow 20 months)so the older two really help out with willow.

i found in the early days i would have to do head counts alot lol. mind you i think thats just baby brain.
but as a plus afterwards two feels like a holiday :)

its totally manageable you just need to be a little more organised
