Hi Everyone,

I'm after some cloth nappies - the flat type - to use just as spill cloths etc (not to be used as nappies). Is there some place that I can get these cheap? I've seen them in stores for $30-$40 for a dozen which seems expensive to me for what is essentially just squares of material! I thought you cloth nappy girls would definitely know best!

Thanks

That does seem expensive! My mum bought me a couple of dozen cheap while I was still preg, she probably got them from Farmers because she works there. I think I've seen them at Baby City and/or Baby Factory too.

Yeah, there are some second hand ones on Trademe but I was hoping to get some new ones. The thought of using somebody elses second hand nappies as spill cloths seems a bit gross even if they have been washed! haha

I'm sure the dozen or so I bought from the Baby factory was only about $20 for the pack.. I think the prices varied on the type you get..but they looked identical to me.

I had the same problem, I couldnt find any at a decent price for what I wanted them for ... I ended up getting some cheap white hand towels and using those for booby leaks. Thankfully jake doesnt spill so that has never been an issue for us.
