I keep seeing the ad for this and am intrigued as to how someone can orgasm while having a baby.    Will so be watching this!

I found this episode on Youtube a while back it is quite interesting. While I wouldn't be opposed to feeling that good in such a normally painful situation I can't help but be completely creeped out by the concept of having an orgasm while trying to welcome my baby into the world lol.
I feel sorry for the baby really, imagine telling him or her their birth story when they're older how uncomfortable would that be! Well son your Mother had multiple orgasms while you were travelling through her birth canal. Ha! Natural my arse thats just plain weird

Our hypnobirthing instructor shows an orgasmic birth (video) during one of the classes ... it was the class that was on the night my waters broke dammit They tell you about it in advance in case you don't want to take part (apparently some parents in the past were very offended by it). I'm not convinced myself

I flicked over to channel 2 JUST as this story was starting lol, so thought meh I may as well watch it.

I still cannot see how labour can be a orgasmix experience, it hurt like hell, and the last thing on my mind was anything like that

I saw the ad, though dp would never let me watch it! When the ad came on he thought the lady was having an orgasm in her sleep, you should of seen his face when I told him what she was actually doing!!

I found my labour to be the exact opposite, all I was thinking about was getting through it without dieing haha!

i watched it. Thought it was a bit weird, im not sure why you would want to have an orgasm while in labour - just seems kinda wrong. I enjoyed my labour and birth and cant wait to do it again but it was in no wayyy orgasmic lol

I missed it, but was not overly trying to watch it, I guess different boddies do different things. Oh & I would not use that story at the kids 21st, lol

For me it was heaps of pain, sick as, 2 emergancy c/sections & 1 normall with NO orgasm.

I didnt think it was weird or offensive, I just wondered how the experience could be so far removed from that of the majority of women.

I'd far rather be feeling that than extreme pain!

I definately think I would have rather prefered to feel pleasure than pain to be quite honest. Definately dont think it is weird. It is how you prepare yourself beforehand for it and how your mind processes what you experience.

I didn't see it.

But I'm not creeped out or offended by it.

Babies are made while having orgasms.
Why not give your pregnancy a nice book-end orgasm

I was quite intrigued by this!
I think it is more about how you prepare yourself mentally and the 'space' your mind is in during the labour which can result in you feeling 'less' pain and allowing your body to relax enough that it would begin to feel pleasure....

I have to say though, I did look at DH awkwardly when the woman was rolling around in the tub totally blissed out!
