I have a wrap which my boy loves but have only used it for food shopping or around home. I've started going for bushwalks each weekend but its a mission with the pushchair so I think I might just wear him. But I don't want him to cook (or freeze) and as my body temperature will be up from the exercise I'm not sure how to dress him??? Sounds like a great idea.
I love my wrap 
I guess it's just a case of trial and error. How easy do you find it to get him in and out? My advice would be to layer him up and keep an eye on his temp. You can always take layers off. -------------

I wore my boy when going for walks when he was little. I'd just dress him in his clothes for inside then put him into the wrap. He stayed cozy and warm because I got so hot. If I wasn't warm to start with then I'd just tuck a little blanket over the wrap until things warmed up a bit. He was a winter baby and we went out in all weathers. With a summer baby I guess you'd just have to monitor baby. ------------- http://lilypie.com">

We use to dress Issy in her normal clothes .. and I would pop a wee blanket over the top .. then if she started getting hot, I would take the blanket off (although that was in the cooler months) ------------- Mummy to Issy (3) and Elias (18 months) I did it .. 41 kgs gone! MamaPickle - is there a way to have the wrap on and put him in and take him out? Usually I just hold him against me and wrap it around how my mw showed me, but it would be much easier if I could have the wrap organised first and then just put him in. ------------- http://lilypie.com"> http://lilypie.com">

If its a long piece of material, check out the moby website, its moby.com, they have instructions on how to wrap, and then put baby in (in a variety of different positions) ------------- Mummy to Issy (3) and Elias (18 months) I did it .. 41 kgs gone!
