 Argh!! Am sitting here pulling my hair out cos I am sooo confused. Trying to do my tax return and my brain just is not working. I've just done mine and hubbys GST returns so I think that is confusing me...

oh no....I have to do a GST return each month at work....mind you the accounting software makes it so much easier....do you have MYOB? It makes life so much easier.

I know where you are coming from! Its a long winded process!!! Worth it if its a refund of any description! -------------

I got a refund for childcare which was $230ish and $120ish of that got taken out for god knows why.im gunna ring them and say whats up wiv that?? the only thing i owe is my student loan which i am not paying off as i am not working at the mo.surely they wouldnt take that money to make one payment off my loan when they know(at least i thnk they know) i am not working as i havent paid tax since aprill 2003??? thats just silly lol. ------------- BECS http://www.sparklee.com">

Well I was stoked the other day when I got my Statement of Account and was OWED $1200!! I rung up to confirm my personal tax summary and they said the money will be in my account in 5 days - well 2 weeks and 4 phone calls later it finally turned up!!! Oh well... And next year I am due to get a bit more then that... We are entitled to Family assistance but with me working occasionaly and not knowing 100% what David is on we leave it and get a lump sum (flag the fortnightly payments!) Yea lump sum payments are the best especially with up and down wages....I am looking forward to something this year!!! -------------
