You can't delete a friend request as such I dont think but what you can do is block the person which will stop the friend request leave it a few days and then unblock them again...

Goto Privacy settings and type in the persons name then press block and it will give you the list of people with that name and you can select block person from there. Hope that makes sense... I don't know how to unblock them but I presume if you search them then you will be able to select unblock instead.

Yep sorry there is no way around it - trust me I looked into it the other week!

Best thing Id suggest would do (and this is what I did) was when they accepted my friend request, a week later I deleted them from my friends.

Yeah best thing to do is block them. You can block anyone, they don't need to be your friend first. When you block someone their name stays on the Privacy page and you can click "Remove" next to their name if you want to unblock them.

When you delete someone, do they get a message saying they were deleted? I just seem to be accumulating ILs on there and don't necessarily want them there ....

No, they don't get a message that they have been deleted. I cull people all the time!

Cool. So I could delete and then if it's noticed, play innocent.

The only problem then is when they re-send you a friend request because they think you deleted them by mistake

Yep they don't get a message thankfully - if you take ages to accept a friend request it eventually dissapears which I have done a couple of times.

Eeeek - no Flake that is wrong - trust me thats what I did.

And then they messaged me and asked me to be their friend - and their message was
"Hiya, got an email saying you had friend requested me, and when I next went onto FB I went on but the friend request wasnt there so just have refriended you now waiting on you to answer lol"

So yeah - not a good option lol I felt like such a dick!
