If you missed it (or looked away) there was a segment on Campbell Live about liquid lipo for post-baby mums - basically it's *meant* to be a gentler softer lipo to get rid of baby fat and laser to tighten the skin. Done under a local anaesthethic.

Would you consider it? (if money was no object - and I didn't hear them say the price).

I'd be tempted after I had my last baby. That said,   I don't mind my mummy tummy - I'm proud that I had a baby, all 9lb 4 oz of him, but I hate my love handles that hang over the sides.

BUT, I would also say how great it was to see a "normal" women's tummy after baby (i.e. not the celeb in a bikini after 6 weeks). I think the more normalisation there is, the better.

Yep I would love too... however I would like to (I am a little lazy at the moment) work my arse off for a bit and lose some weight the healthy way and if there were bit that wouldn't budge then yeah I sure as hell would do it.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

yea probably. id work all my extra off first and wouldnt take it as the easy way out but if i was at my goal weight and stuff id consider it. im only 25 though so as much as im proud i have had a baby and will have another one, i dont wanna have lose skin making my clothes look bad for ever, the stretch marks i dont mind at all though, i dont wave my tummy round or ear a bikini but id like to wear a tight top an not have a loose chunk of skin protruding. lol

I suppose to each their own, but there are far worse things to be afflicted with in life.

I've got a congential defect on my chest wall which has buckled my breastbone so I've got a fist sized 'hole' in my chest. It's definetly not attractive and makes bra shopping a nightmare and I will never wear a bikini because of it.

I've been pushed off multiple lists on the public sector as don't deem the problem to be worthy of the expense involved in fixing it while privately it would cost at least 30k.

It's taken me most of my life to accept my body for what it is but I suppose in the end I'm glad that I'm healthy even if I don't have the prefect bod. I do have trouble watching stuff like that because I want to shake those women and tell them how lucky they are that they only have a bit of flab to contend with.
