going off the other post, just curious to know what age do you start dropping a BF for water/juice etc.

This is DDs eat/drink routine.

7am BF (big feed)
Solids
10am BF
1230pm BF
solids
3pm BF
430pm BF
solids
6/7pm BF
10pm BF (big feed)

The rest of her feed are a few min long just to get her through lol.

What do others do etc?????

Kyle goes roughly like this

6am BF
8am BF
10am BF
1pm BF
4pm BF
6pm BF
10pm BF (sometimes sleeps through this one)
3am BF

Solids. hahaha, whenever i can try to get him to, he doesn't like his high chair or eating off a spoon.

He sometimes doesn't have all those day ones, sometimes randomly he goes 4 hours between feeds.
I will just let him drop them, he will do so when solids get going a bit better, plus I'm not gonna drop any day ones till he stops the night ones.

Spencer was bottle fed so a little different but he had 5 feeds between 7am and 7pm and he didn't start dropping those till he went to solids first and then he started sleeping through when he would have had the mid morning one and then a little while later he started having a snack so that kind of replaced it. Water I just offered with food and he still doesn't have juice, only water, and a cup of formula first thing.

I offer Kyle water every time I offer food but I wouldn't offer it in place of milk.

I found that there was no "dropping breastfeeds" as such, as she ate more she wasn't as hungry so would have shorter BF, then when I found the perfect cup for her to drink water from she drank more water and BF less often.

Mine is pretty much exactly the same as yours Taylahsmummy. Except without the 10pm feed.
She now has a BF after lunch/dinner too.
She *just* started dropping/forgetting about the 10/11am BF. Some days are different though. I haven't replaced it with water/juice. She eats a lot more lunch and drinks lots of water with it.

I just realised that at some point I stopped 'demand' feeding and was just feeding out of my own habits. Once I started looking for actual 'I'm HUNGRY for boob' signs, feeds spread out a bit and the mid morning was dropped :)
Of course she likes a mid morning feed when I least expect it so I can't leave her without expressing just incase.
