Hi lovely ladies,
DH and I are hoping to finally take DS to his grandparents house on Waiheke next weekend. However, we're having a bit of an issue with his hammock, and where to put it.
Does anyone know if there are places that hire hammock stands? Or alternatively, is there anyone Auckland-based on here who would consider hiring / lending us a stand for the weekend??
We don't need one for home, and it seems crazy to buy one just for one weekend (especially since DS won't be in the hammock for too much longer...)
TIA!

You can buy the door clamps for them which I found really easy to use and I know some people hang the baby in the doorway of a wardrobe.

yeah, we have a door clamp and it's great - but there is no wardrobe in the Gparents spare room, and it'll be too cold to hang him in the doorway - hence the problem...

I've lent mine to a friend but her bub isn't due till October so you're welcome to borrow it if you can liaise with her to get hold of it.

On a side note .. do you know how cumbersome a stand is? Its not something I would consider packing lol.
Although we have a miyo stand (as they were prettier) so maybe its bigger?

Thanks Emma! I think I might have found one via the West Auckland Parents Centre - but if that falls through I'll be in touch
Lilfatty - I think this one is a Nature's Sway - which I'm hoping will come apart / fold down - - otherwise it will definitely be a bit of a mission to fit it + giant dog + baby+ pram + everything else in the car!
