Bit of background info, we have been casually ttc for a couple of months now and my AF is all over the show anything from 20 - 30 days between. Prior to DD I was a clockwork girl, every 28 days. Normally my AF is light to medium with no clots at all and lasts approx 3 days.

This month AF arrived on CD 32 after occassional spotting for 3 days prior to this. I also ovulated late at CD24. It is very heavy, having to change my tampon every 2 hours and I am having huge clots, well they are huge to me, probably about the size of the old .50 cent coin. They are dark clots so I know that they "can" be normal, but they are not normal for me!! What is going on!!!!!

So my question is, should I be worried or is it just my body having a big clean out after a few months of irregular AF's? Do I just wait to see what next month brings??

Thanks for listening and for any advice anyone can give me!

i would go to a doctor, i doubt it is anything serios but i think a professional opinion is probably better than ours. it sounds a wee bit out of our league. good luck though :)

Is it possibly a MC? Go to the doc and good luck.

I thought that Pixie, AF would have arrived at 18DPO... So not out of the realm of possibility..
Is it painful Peachy? I would head to the Dr and get them to do a blood test, see if there is any HCG in your blood (it can take a few days for it to drop) cos it might be a MC? (you would have to get them done tomorrow though, just to catch the HCG)
GL and let us know..

Thanks for your replies ladies!

I was wondering if it could be an early MC as I had VERY sore boobs and I don't normally get those with AF. Oh well what is meant to be is meant to be I guess.

Finally AF stopped today after 4 days of flooding!

I am going to a naturopath that specializes in Womens Health on the 18th Sept to get my body back in order hopefully as I definately do not want to go back on the damn pill!!

My blood type is RH pos, not sure about DH he has no idea lol!

Emmi, haven't had any pain at all!

Thanks again for your wise words of wisdom
