Hi :-)

I'm thinking about getting a bumbo, are they good? Would it serve as a good portable highchair?

Also... where can I get them from??

Thanks!!

We loved our Bumbo, so handy to pop in the car and take with us when we went visiting! Oli loved sitting in his, and we got a tonne of use out of it!

I ordered ours online - I got it from these guys http://www.cheekybubs.co.nz/bumboplaytray.html - Bumbo  - we got the tray as well, and it was a good move!

We got a Bebe Pod, same deal. Tayla uses it every day!! Off trademe new for $79+ courier with a tray and toy so better deal than Bumbo. Also Bumbo I believe has a bumy surface that makes it hard to clean where as the Bebe Pod is smooth.

Is a Bebe Pod the same design? I read somewhere about the bumbo being recommended by osteopaths etc.. because of the design, something about the leg holes being higher than the seated part... if that makes sense! Is Bebe Pod the same?

nope. had mine for a week and sold it on trade me for $10 less than i paid for it!
the reason being, DS2 just threw himself backward in it as soon as he was put in it (every time). so he clearly didn't like it, and it wasn't safe to leave him in it for any length of time.

so my answer would be, it depends on the personality of your baby! LOL.
