is there any age kids have to have warm bottles? i was just wondering if you could give it to them if they are willing to take it or if its an age thing. i know if you make up formula for later it has to be kept in the fridge and its better to be given to them sooner rather than later but can you give it to them cold?

yep, if he will drink it . It is actually quite a good thing to get them used to having bottles at different temperatures as soon as you can so that if you get stuck somewhere and can't warm a bottle it is not the end of the world.
A friend's DD was really picky and if the bottle cooled too much whilst she was drinking it, she would stop and refuse any more so she often had two smaller bottles so one could be left in some warm water, just in case

I have a friend who's baby has only ever had room temperature bottles, she just fills the bottles with water and sits them in the cupboard and then at feed time adds the formula! No problems when out and about!! I however always warm it - and she doesnt really drink it well if it is too cool.
Hope all is going well for you Monikah

Jake had formula once a day from 6 months and most of the time it wasn't warmed. As he had more bottles I tended to warm them less and less often (cos we were out and about, and it was quicker at home) and he never minded.
From a safety point of view there is no need to warm, and leaving it warm for a while is actually worse (cos bugs are more likely to grow in warm milk than cold).
