Ashley has decided last week that she doesnt want me to feed her but she wants to eat herself. I dont know what to feed her as all i know is the watties food. Now she doesnt like eating that at all and just plays with her food. She eats heaps at daycare 3 days a week but when she comes home or on the days that i am at home with her, she just refuses to eat. So i just give her milk and cheese which she likes to eat and drink.

Any ideas would just help as i dont want her to go hungry.

finger food that we give henry regularly includes
- sandwhiches with either marmite, or a tomato relish thing we have, sometimes jam but not too often.
- fruit cut up, he loves oranges, bananas, grapes will eat pears and apples but finds them harder work
- raisins
- popcorn - i always make sure im watching really carefully when he eats this as im paranoid about choking but he loves it
- fish fingers
- meatballs - take a bit of prep though
- pasta - he loves macaroni, even cold so i will often keep some from dinner for the next day.
- scrambled eggs

These are things i generally give him for lunch. For dinner he has whatever we are having.
Hope that helps

I used to make Jack mini pizzas with a muffin split, sauce, ham and cheese - just zap it in the microwave to melt the cheese.

As Angel4 said sandwiches are great, or mini pita pockets as a bit of a change. You can use spreads like cottage cheese or ceam cheese.

Some kids love dipping, so vege sticks (carrot [parboiled if you like], celery) dipped in hummus or fruit sticks dipped in yoghurt

Another thing Hayden finds easy to eat is pasta spirals, I pre cook a bunch and have them frozen in the freezer and they only take 30 seconds or so to thaw in the microwave and a good dollop of basil cream cheese or sour cream and sundried tomato's etc and its an easy and yummy lunch or dinner. I usually halve the spirals after they have defrosted so they are just a mouthful as Hayden some times still has issues with biting off the right amount and if he has too much in his mouth he spits it out
