Hi ladies, just thought I would let you know that these new forms are now available at the following address - http://www.ers.govt.nz/parentalleave/self-employed/

You can use apply for leave as both an employee and a self employed person to maximise your entiltlement to the maximun of $372 per week. (if you don't already get the maximium entitlement anyway)

I thought the max was $357.30 or has that gone up too? Be good. No where near my weekly wage but better than nothing and I can't believe that its taxable - why don't they just put the after tax amount..

Cos they take different tax off depending on your tax code,..like if u have a student loan, they still take the extra for that off your parental leave entitlement.
