Hi ladies, just thought I would let you know that these new forms are now available at the following address - http://www.ers.govt.nz/parentalleave/self-employed/
You can use apply for leave as both an employee and a self employed person to maximise your entiltlement to the maximun of $372 per week. (if you don't already get the maximium entitlement anyway) ------------- http://lilypie.com">

I thought the max was $357.30 or has that gone up too? Be good. No where near my weekly wage but better than nothing and I can't believe that its taxable - why don't they just put the after tax amount.. ------------- Ann

Cos they take different tax off depending on your tax code,..like if u have a student loan, they still take the extra for that off your parental leave entitlement.

Bloody tax dept..Must get mine filled in and sent away...
How long does it take to organise or can I leave it a few weeks??? -------------
