for Ben who is 9wks? We will be using the Closer to Nature bottles. DH can't find the 0mth+ teats at the supermarket

Basically Jack won't let DH put him to bed at the moment (we are thinking jealousy issue) but Ben feeds from about 6.30pm till about 10pm with only a few short breaks and sometimes a sleep. So I have expressed this morning and hoping DH can give him a bottle just ti tide him over while I am in with Jack.

We are using the pump and Closer to Nature bottles that I had from when Jack was a baby and I tried expressing. I have some 0mth teats but they are 2yrs old and although they look OK I assume that I will need new ones

Do you know how fast a letdown you have? if you have a fast one then I'm sure he will be fine with the older teat as it's just a faster flow rate than the newborn one. I think if it is a bit fast for him then sitting him more upright to drink can slow it down a bit and I'm sure he will quickly learn to not suck as hard if it is too fast.

We used avent bottles with Spencer and it always told you to bin the teats after 3 months, I suppose the plastic/rubbery stuff it's made from probably degrades or something.

I would assume your teats will still be okay with a wash and sterilise but if not i have a whole bunch of the number 1 teets that you can have - my bubs had to go onto the number 3's almost straight away due to the reflux formula

You are welcome to all of them if you want them
