Can everyone please help me out with questions I should be asking my MW.
I think of some and write them down but half the time I'm thinking I won't be asking enough- like I've forgotten some things.
Can you please let me know what questions you were asking your MW's...

Well, she should be talking you through a birth plan sometime soon... that usually brings up a whole lotta questions.
I don't think I really asked my midwife many questions. Just read stuff on here which pretty much answered most queries!!! I think she was worried that I wasn't concerned enough

P.S. Questions come up as you are talking with MW too... don't be too worried if you have nothing to ask.

If you're writing them down as you think of them Stevie, you're doing well and will probably be asking her more questions than those of us going in there without a list! Good on ya.

Yep I agree! Always have a pen and paper in your bag for those "ohh I need to ask the MW..." moments. If you're anything like me I forget what I wanted to ask her by the time I found the pen and paper! LOL

my midwife is really good, she is so full of info that whatever I am about to ask she usually pre-empts...but I guess just the whole birthplan thing is important, other than that not sure...?

I carry a diary round... and every time I think of a question to ask my midwife, I write it on the date page for my next appointment. That way I don't lose my bits of paper!

I use a diary too and put in any questions I have. A couple you might want to ask her could be
- who will be in the room (medical staff wise)
- who will make the decision to move you if you need a c section (I think you said you will have to move if you need one)
- pain relief options
- what you need to pack for you and baby, what does the hospital supply for baby
- when should you ring her if you thing labour might be starting
- birthing plan of course
- if all goes to plan will baby stay with you all the time or what happens if baby needs to go to neonatal.
Hmmm thats all I can think of at the moment and lots of this will come up in conversation but gives you an idea I hope.
