I am in the 2nd trimester and I was waiting for the glowing skin... I feel robbed as all I have is flaky dry skin that moisturiser cant cure

Yep, me too (only I'm into 3rd trimester now). If I moisturise everyday it seems to not be too bad, and it was at its worst around 15-20 weeks. I have dandruff to go with it too

So not much help, but at least some sympathy!

I suffered from this a bit, but it came right when I switched EVERY product I used to sensitive or all natural. Cleanser, moisturiser, washing powder, shampoo, the lot.

Have you tried aqueous cream ?? Dh has mega dry flaky skin and her uses this every day, seems to work wonders for him.
I had it bad the first trimester adn I used Aveeno that seemed to do the trick.

Hmmm might try the Aqueous cream. I had a bath tonight with baby oil then used body shop body butter and it seems to have eased it a bit.

Thanks for your sympathy and responses ladies

Try Alpha Keri oil in your bath. Makes your skin nice & soft. You can rub it on directly as well

Oh yeah, i have this 2. I wondered why the hell my skin was so flaky all the time! Not really dry, just the skin peeling of all the time on my face. Nothing i do seems to help, exfoliate etc etc and moisturizer just sits on top of my skin hoping it will go away when babe pops out!

I had this as well...unfortunately it hasn't gone away after the girls were born My nose is the worst, followed by the rest of my face. Even my arms are really dry.

Iv still got dryish skin and have to use a dandruff shampoo occasionally. (where as had no problems pre preg, had oily skin!)

Yup I had this too but only on my face the only thing that has worked for me is not putting anything on my face and by allowing my face to dry without using a towel.
