is the best time to express Breastmilk ??
after bubs has fed... first thing in the morning .... I have a very hungy healthy 6 week old who is exclusively breastfed.. |

Yes, you are supposed to express after baby has fed. I always find I can express WAY more in the morning, and even at lunchtime. At night time I get next to nothing. -------------

I tended to express after most morning feeds as I had a bigger supply then. Afternoons and evenings I didn't seem to be able to get enough off to be worth the effort of expressing. ------------- http://lilypie.com">  http://lilypie.com">

Oh and its best after baby has been fed, or while you are feeding if baby only takes one side. My girl only ever took one side at a feed and that was plenty for her. ------------- http://lilypie.com"> http://lilypie.com">

My boy only ever had 1 side a feed, so I would express off the other side while he fed, during the first feed of the day. I got loads off because the other side let down at the same time as the side he was feeding on
