Thinking about getting an exersaucer.... our wee girl of 7 1/2 months is not yet mobile, does not enjoy much tummy time, and is getting frustrated.

The array of exersaucers in the shops is quite confusing.  If you have one - can you tell me what brand, are you happy with it, etc.  Not sure what brand is best - but looking for value for money, and would also love one with musical buttons (as wee girl is right into pressing buttons that make sounds!).

i never used one but from what i gather you can hire them from toy libraries and it works out more cost effective... or check trade me.

We have a safety first one (I think), got it off trademe, the buttons don't work anymore, if you are getting one off trademe check that the batteries are replaceable, in our one they aren't which is a bit of a PITA, except I'm not such a fan of musical toys so I don't really mind. I got ours because when they are bigger the car comes off and it turns into a race track.

I got an older-style Evenflo exersaucer off trademe for $51 a few weeks back, and I'm so glad I got it!
My baby gets bored easily, and he's not mobile yet and doesn't like much tummy time either.
I've found he loves being upright, and loves rocking and bouncing in it more than playing with the toys! Which is good, because the toys on this version are fairly basic.
I don't think the brand name should make much difference to the quality, just make sure its still in good nick if you go second-hand. They are so expensive brand new!

We had an Evenflo Megasaucer and lil miss loved it, it was reasonably expensive for the short amount of time she was in it tho - she crawled at 6 mths so was over it pretty quick after that.

we LOVED the exersaucer that was lent to us...and I would def splash out on one in future...

would never do a walker...too dangerous!

I bought this in end though (she had an exerrsaucer at daycare which helped!)...and she LOVED it...

the advice that i got from my chiropractor is to make sure they crawl to develop there cross brain coordination before using upright tools - babies are not designed to be upright before crawling. it can lead to developmental problems - just a bit of info cause it was something I certainly didn't know a few months ago!
