I have been told by a few people that there is no point in the follow on formula... That you can just leave them on the birth... until getting to the Stage 3.

what are peoples thoughts opinions??

That's funny, I've heard from people that there's no point in Stage 3 - that you should just use Stage 2 until 12 months and then go to cow's milk. We used Stage 1 till about 8 months when our last tin ran out ... and the biggest attraction to Stage 2 for me was that it's CHEAPER

I asked at plunket last week and she said to switch to stage two as it had more iron in it.

I was looking at the Heinz hungrier babies one. It is for all ages and I was wondering the same thing.

We did birth - 6 months, 6 months - 1 yr and now he's on toddler formula cuz it's cheaper than cows milk!!!

Just watch out for those thickened formulas for hungrier babies - Thomas got horribly horribly constipated after being put on that by the doctor.

Chloe got horribly constipated when we tried to go onto the stage 2 formula... so we just stayed on the stage one formula, Dr said it would be fine. Then switched to cows milk. I think if your bubba has a good solids diet then it's not really an issue.
