Help! One of the darling children I care for during the day has drawn/ scribbled on my Cream coloured Leather lounge suite with BLACK permanent marker... How do I get this off???

O.K. I know this sounds weird (I haven't tried it) but I've heard hairspray gets ink off leather. Not sure about black marker but would assume it would work for that as well.
Otherwise I imagine rubbing alcohol might work. However I haven't tried either of these so for all I know it may damage the leather further. However I googled it to be sure and it seems a lot of other people have tried the hairspray and it's worked for them. But for every 10 positive stories theres always one negative. -------------

Another one which I've used and it worked brilliantly is perfume, on a white leather barstool (for ballpoint pen). Only thing to bare in mind is it can take some of the colour out of the leather also, so the area is now slightly whiter than the rest. If its a large area of drawing you may not want to try this!!!

Yep hairspray or dry cleaning fluid should work.
Just spray on and wipe off with a cotton ball. Test a small area first though. Also I have heard that Coppertone continuous spray SPF30 removes any marks from leather -------------

Surprisingly & I'd do this in a suttle place, that if you redraw over with the vivid it will unset the ink & you can wipe off. It's to do with the alcohol in the pen. ------------- Kel http://lilypie.com">

I used to be draw on my ruler at school don't ask me why but managed to take it off with moisturiser yet again don't ask me why I did this lol. Or nail polish remover?
