DP's daughter is possibly the fussiest eater of them all. When I first met her at 4, the only way DP could get her to eat anything was to get her zone out in front of the tv and HE would literally shovel food into her mouth. Her diet primarly consisted of luncheon, processed cheese slices, cold french fries, chocolate dairy food, bananas and bread rolls and THAT IS ABOUT IT. No vegetables, no unprocessed meats she didn't even eat chocolate cake.
I challenge you to find a fussier eater than this kid.
After 9 months, of tears and tantrums (mostly mine) she finally ate her entire meal of ginger chicken spaghetti tonight at the table by herself. Her first proper meal EVER.
I'm doing a happy dance and hoping that we've finally turned the corner on her eating at our house at least.
Yeeeha.

I can beat that, and it was ME!
I lived on potato and bread and junk food for all of my childhood. No other veges, no meat, no fruit, nada

My 6yo DS is a shocker he doesn't eat any veges but does eat fruit and hates meat but like processed meat. Tea most night is a sandwich and cheese.

Welcome to my world!
Only way I fixed this was to eliminate a whole pile of additives/preservatives & other stuff from her diet & all of a sudden she was eating truckloads.

Fiona, lots and lots of star charts. Also things like getting her own plate and cup made with her name, helping with making the food and just trying a few bites at first. This big step was taking away all the other food and telling her 'this was it' as far as meals go and elimnating any snacking.
Bobbie, DP was excited as this is a full week but it did take him being a bit more a hard-ass about the court order.
Alia's mum (fab name btw) one of the joys of living in a blended household is that unfourtantely she'll still be having the same-old same-old at her mother's house.
But we've take our oppourtunity of having a full week with the kiddo and we are running with it. Wednesday is her choice, where she gets to pick what she wants from the cookbook for her meals. Will be interesting to see what she comes up with.

I would only eat luncheon, cheese in cubes and quartered tomato. For 18 months thats all I ate, with the occassional vegemite on toast! If mum cut the cheese and toms in any other way I wouldnt eat them.
Yeah on DP getting visits!!!

Definitely works with them helping with the meal.
Cross fingers she will understand what the rules are at your house & at least you know you are feeding her right while she is with you
