Hi there, im looking at getting one of these but want some opinions first, those of you that have one, can you put a standard portacot mattress inside it for extra comfort? or dont you need it? also how long did you kids fit in it for?

We have one, I don;t think a standard portacot mattress would fit in there. It comes with a mattress though. And dd finds it quite comfy, shes now 18 mnths and quite tall still fits in it fine. The only thing is there is nowhere to tuck sheets in, I just out dd in her sleeping bag with a blanket on top.

I have one and love it. I put the mattress on top instead of inside the little slot.. that way I can tuck the sheets in.
I like the way that the side zips open so you dont have to break your back getting them in and out.
