With birthdays and Chistmas coming up, I'm looking at outdoor swing and slide sets.

The warehouse has this one on sale atm - http://www.thewarehouse.co.nz/red/catalog/toys/outdoor-play/playground-equipment/Swing-%26-Slide-Set?SKU=494283

seems like a good deal - but maybe it is too cheap and nasty?

Has anyone bought this? opinions?
Any other suggestions?

Thanks
Deb

DJ, I'm not able to help you with this particular outdoor set, but have you seen the ones advertised in the Toyworld pamplet? They have a playworld 3 unit swing set for $200 and later on, you could add a slide etc

This may or may not help you

I can't help you with that particular one either. We have something similar but its made by Hills and we got it delivered (for free) from iqtoys.co.nz

We ended up being given this and its fine. Doesn't have the slide on ours (it was left at an ex-rental which a friend without kids brought). Jake enjoys it. TBH I wouldn't have spent money on something like this. I reckon a fort-type thing with attached swing and slide is alot more versatile. JMO anyway

we have it and bought for $150. it goes around quite cheaply.

the swings are okay, but not so good for the younger child. We had a fisher price one we attached and that was good. now the kids are old enough, having two ius great. slide is okay, but quite rickety. they play on it a lot.
