where would be the best (and cheapest) place to get a large carpet square in Auckland? We have timber floors and I want some carpet down for when Ben starts having more floor time and starts sitting, crawling etc. I don't want to spend too much as we are extending the house and will eventually get carpet throughout. ------------- Lindsey

I don't know about auckland but I just went to the local carpet place and brought a huge offcut cheap as chips  it doesn't have the edges stitched or whatever the word is lol but we're getting carpet at some point too so its just for playing. HTH!-------------

We've just bought carpet from carpet court and they had a room out the back full of leftover bits for fairly cheap. So you could try them? They weren't edged, but they charge about $9/metre to edge them. ------------- http://lilypie.com">  http://lilypie.com">
