so the ad says we are separated by 2 degrees - as in everyone in nz knows someone we know. Just an experiemtn - feel free not to join in if you are wary of people stalking.
who do you know from here, through someone else? as in, i have just figured out (but don't think she has) that a relateively newish member (senior member, but on the "due in" boards) is the sister of an ex-flatmate. won't mention her name, cause I figured it out through facebook and don't wanna sound TOO stalkery. so fess up - who do you know through someone? oh, and to add to that, anyone have cook island blood? Emz was in my AN class but we were chatting on here first MamaPickles neighbor up north is on my FB as we have a lot of friends in common (i know her but not well) -------------

One of the members is friends with my old flatmate/friend from when I was 18(thats like 7years ago now). i asked a few people when we had mutual friends
1 went to tcol with my friend from high school - in the same class 1 goes to the same church as a kid I taught (and adore) 1 old flatmate ( i think) was a good friend in primary school and girl guides. funny how it all works huh. |

I have spotted a few through facebook.
One who has heaps of friends in common after going to the only other college in our area. She even has on her friends list one of DH's old best mates. Another I spotted recently (and Aug09 mummy) is friends with another friend of mine. And another person I figured out lived down my street from a photo  -------------

a few years back i realised that i lived around the corner from Renees (neeandsam) nana (i think it was her nana!) and i went to school with her cousins!
Theres also another member on here that i met through another website and i noticed she was on a mate of mines facebook having a convo with my mate (a mate i grew up with and her mum is my sons daycare teacher). |

I dont know the girl on here but it turns out she works with a friend. the OB girl told my friend I was PG, and my friend has since gone and told all the rest of my friends... Who I can now say are no longer on my list of friends! (its not the fact she found out at all, I wouldnt have cared it was the fact she didnt talk to me about it (still hasnt!) and told everyone else instead!)
But thats the only one so far.... Im sure more will pop up eventually! -------------

As WRXchic said my neighbour (here in Tauranga) knows WRX (in Invers). Found out through FB that WRX is our mutual friend. My best friend's DH is mutual friends with kaiz231's DH (again, a FB connection, figured out via comments on my best friend's DH's page). Another members DF was friends with my cousin at school, and was a few years below me at the same high school. -------------

had been on a while when I learnt that kelly and suzyq were friends with a friends nanny..so knew of me and vice versa!
I went to one of debs tupperware parties and met one of her friends who used to be a neighbour and is married to the son of a friend of mums... know a few of your hubbys via work...and a few people on here via work also - but wont let on about those ones! noone on here has linked to that one.... yet! amazing how many FB friends from on here are friends with my old school friends...and learnt that Katherine comes from a town close to my family in america! stalk stalk stalk..... |

I worked with someone who has previously worked with pepsi. I also worked with someone who is friends with Huggles (my due thread) and MarieB... Not too bad considering I have only been in NZ a wee while LOL. It does crack me up how everybody knows somebody here... There are probably more but not sure I will ever know about them. I would love to know if I know someone IRL from here.-------------

I've known Busymum (is she still round??) in RL since I was like 10 or 11?? I even went to her beautiful wedding at the rose gardens  (T, I still think you're one of the bravest people I know getting maried in a public place like that!!!) but it didn't click til the first palmy meetup I went too 
Daizy has a FB friend who I know in RL - very unfortunate since I've spent the last few months actively avoiding that person 
Would hope nobody else on here has known me in RL since the last decade hasn't seen me at my best -------------

I know Emz bridesmaid/best friend - when I looked at her photos from her wedding NZWP days - I recogsnised her! Small world because that friend of Ems is good friends with a really good friend of mines sister who Ive know for like 20 years!

Haha I'm almost confused chick!
So yeah like Dal said, we both know some of the same people IRL. Also when I was planning my wedding I emailed her at work (not realising it was her - just enquiring about bands etc) only to find out she was an NZWP person. And like wrx said, we had AN class together and we didn't realise until we both were talking about it on here. But also my DH realised he knew wrx's DP (well knew of him, hadn't met him) because he saw a pic of their car (the Starlet) when Josh was born and went 'oh, that guy' lol. They know the same people from a car club. Other than that, I've met a few off here and know a few from NZWP but no others through 2 degrees. |

I used to work with Megansmum's DH, but didn't click until I saw the birth announcement in our work newsletter.
