DH, the kids and I are going on a holiday to Australia in November. We are going for a couple of weeks. DS will be 8 1/2 months by then and I was just wondering what advise you can give in regards to the time difference whilst in Australia. As your probably aware they are three hours behind now that day light savings has started. I don't fancy waking at 3.30am (Australian Time) as DS is currently waking at 6.30am.
I am not worried about DD as I think she is old enough to handle the change and I am sure the flight over will be enough to tire her out to have a nice long sleep the first night of our travels. We are due to leave NZ on an afternoon flight and sure we get into Brisbane at around 4.30pm Australian time.
Another thing I am wondering is whilst on travel what did you do in the regards to feeding your infant? I am not too sure I am keen on can food!?
Ideas and suggestions are greatly accepted.

TIA,

-------------

Hi,
I've just got home from 16 days in Brisbane. DS is 3 months old and only woke early the first 2 days (although there was only 2 hours difference then). After that he was fine. I didn't worry about trying to adjust things to fit the time difference.
I found that he got very thirsty and drank a LOT. I didn't have to worry about food but can you just give him some of whatever you're eating?
