Ok, do your emotions ever go back to normal after having a baby??
I am crying so often now, at TV shows especially!! I watched the disabilities programme yesterday (I think?) and cried because the guy went to Africa and even though the family had nothing (he sponsored their child), they still gave him a woven mat that they had made for him. Now I'm crying watching the Biggest Loser!!! Does this ever go back to normal?? I had never cried watching TV until after I had the girls (not even when pregnant)!!!!

I must admit after nearly 10 months it has not got any better for me, I am always crying when there is something sad on TV, but its mostly when its to do with children. Although there are somethings that use to upset me that don't so much anymore.

Dal - it's on now on TV3 (started at 9am) - a new series that has just started today. It's an Australian one, and it's couples...so there's father/daughter, daughter-in-law/father-in-law, best friends, husband/wife etc. Looks like it's going to be different to the previous ones - they're on an island (so far anyway!!).
Sheena - DH finds it hilarious because I am NOT an emotional person, I think he had seen me cry once? And now I just have to watch TV!!!

I cry over songs, watching TV, the other day I cried for nearly an hour after watching the clip where Beyonce sings to the little girl, I NEVER cried before having my girl - I was "hard". Not any more thanks to the hormones!

I think becoming a parent opens you up to a whole new raft of emotions. Before I had my son, that starship ad would have rolled right off me. Now I find myself clucking over the Johnson&Johnson ads.....

I didn't cry heaps but was really emotional in general after mine, until about 1 month after I finished BF Ollie. I think for me the hormone changes just affect me heaps and they have finally started settling down.

I often find my eyes well up with tears at really random things.
But I get extremely emotional at anything sad to do with babies/children etc

Glad I am not the only one, the tsunami stuff is a no go zone for me. I just flat out burst into tears!!!!
I was emotional pre pg but since having jake I am a bit of a mess. Not much has to happen to set me off.

I was reading this thread thinking 'nah, I haven't really been that emotional' - then last night we were watching that Piha surf rescue programme - and the little boy who got swept out in a rip and was calling for his dad - OMG - both DH and I started to well up Crazy!
