If a receipe has self raising flour in it, can I replace it with the equivalent flour and baking powder instead? If so, does anyone know the ratios please?

I don't have any self raising flour in my cupboard and I am far too lazy to go out in this rain if I can make do with whats in my pantry

TIA

I always use 1tsp baking powder for every 1 cup of flour - not sure if that's the exact ratio but it always works for me, and I never use self raising flour and do lots of baking

Edited for spelling

My formula is

1+ cup self-rising flour = 1 cup sifted all-purpose flour + 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder + 1/2 teaspoon salt
