The kidlet is officially school age!!11!11!!
I've been a bit slack in ohbaby land for the last wee while (which I should be given that the kidlet just turned 5!!) but I just wanted to say thanks a trillion billion to all the peeps who have helped me out from the first time I found the ohbaby website in my confused and panicked state in 2004, through the whole arghomygodi'mgoingbacktostudy, getting the paternity results back (EEK!), the sh*tty time through other stuff, boys and getting-rid-of-boys, and the general mayhem that comes along with a child full of personality 
I have met so many wickedly funny, lovely, and general good sorts on here and couldn't have got through to this point without your wise words of advice or hilarious comments. I do know there is much much more to come but sending her off to school feels like a bit of a milestone ya know? I love ya.

i hope she's enjoying school.....i shed a tear or 2 when jack started a couple of months ago, but that was mostly from him telling me 'you can go now mum' after being there 5mns!!!

Vanessa - yeah, Han was the same. She told me as we were getting out of the car "You have to call me a big girl now." and then trotted off to sit with the kids on the mat when we walked in. Luckily years of her being at creche has meant that I just feel a bit of freedom after being a SAHM for the last month. Mannnn it's hard work! Gimme a job in an office any day
