I love the look of all the Mocka furniture and I never see any on Trademe which makes me think people hang onto it 'cause it's so good. I'm looking at the change table, which I initially didn't think I'd want but it looks so versatile - any recommendations for or against?

I've just ordered the change table on the weekend (the wooden one with drawers that you can use as a dresser, not the folding one) - will let you know what I think when it arrives. I love the style of it and at $199 it's a bargain! I've got the Mocka wooden highchair which has been great too.

Oh Febgirl I'd love to know what you think too!  I love the look of that change table, and using  it for drawers is such a great thing too, so you can use it forever!  But DH was wondering if it is made out of MDF and laminated or pine and painted or what.  So please let us know what you think!!  I'm gonna have to wait for it to go on sale again now.... luckily I've got plenty of time!

Well got the change table last week, and overall I'm really pleased with it. It's wooden, but with a white vaneer/laminated type finish so easy to wipe down and keep clean. It weighed a ton, over 50kg (so I think it must be pine, MDF wouldn't weigh that much?) so I couldn't carry it inside when the couriers dropped it off, had to wait for DH to come home! Once assembled it's like a rock, would survive an earthquake - it's a substantial piece of furniture so make sure you assemble it close to where you want to have it as you wouldn't want to be moving it from room to room!

Assembly took a long time - just as well DH is handy with assembling stuff as there is no way I would have been able to figure it out by myself! Some of the pre-drilled holes were a bit wonky so we had to improvise, but it wasn't too bad. DH did something funny when he was screwing on the drawer runners and they kept catching but I'm not sure if that was due to a design fault or shonky assembly - he managed to get it running smoothly in the end anyway.

There's loads of storage space it in, and it looks lovely and overall I would buy it again.

Hope that helps! If you want to see a photo of it in it's assembled glory PM me...
