We are planning to TTC #4 shortly, however I developed anti-D antibodies during my last pregnancy. (I'm Rh - & #3 is Rh+)
I have done some reading on pregnancies with this issue, so know the basics, but would like to hear any first hand accounts from women who have been in this situation (ie were you monitored differently, experience any problems related directly to having the anti-bodies)

Thanks

I am Rh-

I have had 3 babies - first two were Rh- and the last was rh+ so had the anti d injection after his birth.

There is nothing different this time as far as monitoring is concerned just that they know I am.

I have had to have 2 anti d injections this pregnancy due to amnio and bleeding at 20 weeks so unrelated to past babie being Rh+

As long as you had the anti d after your last birth when discovered your baby was rh+ - you should be fine but like any prengnat person any bleeding in pregnancy should be reported to your midwife straight away and not to get blasie about it (sure you wouldn't though)

Thanks for your reply Chickaboo.
I had an undiagnosed bleed (didn't show externally) sometime between 28wks and 36wks and I developed the anti-D antibodies.....meaning having the anti-D injection wouldn't be of any use. My body now has the "nasties" that could attack an unborn baby if its blood is Rh+.
So I'm looking for anyone who HAS developed the anti-D antibodies during pregnancy, but gone on to have a further pregnancy.
