I am looking into this as an option if things dont happen soon for me. I really dont want a Christmas baby

i did accupuncture from 36 weeks onwards and my baby was 9 days overdue after 2 inductions. lol. id do it again though cos i had a real easy labour and i definitly think that contributed -------------

I cant help with recommending anyone as i had it done in whangarei but the accupuncturist (sp?) wouldn't do it for me until i was actually overdue as there were no medical reasons for baby to come earlier (driving me insane wasnt good enough ) I paid $35 a visit but had been going to him since before i got pregnant. My labour also progressed really quickly and my MW thought it might have been because of the accupuncture. Good luck finding someone -------------  Angel Baby Aug '12, Feb '13 |

Try "http://www.vitalis.co.nz" - Dr Vitalis , he's in Mairangi Bay and really lovely.
I would suspect though that he won't do it until you have gone past your EDD, as with anything there is no guarantee it will work as an induction unless your body is ready anyway. ------------- Mama to two earth walkers & two angels. Thanks for the replies. I wasn't planning to have it done before my EDD. Just wanting another option cause my OB isn't seeing me till a week after my EDD which is the day before Christmas Eve. ------------- Proud mummy to two beautiful little girls and a precious little boy <3 |
