Hello 
I'm wondering when most people start looking for a Midwife ? I'm between 6 and 9 weeks (will find out for sure next week) I've heard that they get booked up pretty quickly. Also, I have no idea where to look for one! If anyone knows of one around the Pt Chevalier area, and could pass on their details .. That would be much appreciated

| Our phone book has a bunch of them in the medical section in the front. Some places have websites or ask your GP for a list |

Gill MacGregor in Westmere has been recommended by a couple of ladies - let me know what she;s like cos I'm thinking of her for next time!

try going to the midwifery council of NZ website by following this link http://www.midwiferycouncil.org.nz/main/register/
It has everymidwife listed in here and you can search your area, see their qualifications and if they have a current practise cert. |
