I think I've developed PUPPPS and my stomach is itching like crazy!!! What have you guys used that helps take away the itch?

So far only a cold flannel helps but that's too temporary. Do I need a prescription for something to get rid of it?

I had a really itchy tummy too, my mw recommended a saline rinse and then using curash powder. It made a slight difference, a cold flannel helped too.

It disappeared almost straight after DS was born

I think I've got both of those things - will give them a go now!! Luckily I've only got till the end of next weeks tops till this baby comes out to put up with it, so glad it didn't develop any earlier!!

Curash powder helped me too. In the hospital they used calamine lotion which made it feel great while it was still damp but once it dried was still itchy-ish.

I know its hard but try not to scratch till your bleeding, makes it so much worse because then everything stings as well

Hopefully it wont be too much longer for you!

Oops, just had a frenzied scratching attack on my tummy and it felt great at the time but stingy now. I had some nappy rash cream that I got as a present that I've rubbed on which has helped. Seems the baby products are the way to go.
