hi everyone
Im pregnant with twins and i am wanting to know if anyone has any contact phone numbers for midwives that are experinced in multiples pregnancys. Im 26 weeks and i stay in blockhouse bay. I currently have a midwife but she is not experinced with multiple pregnancys and wish to find a midwife that is. 2 weeks ago i went into hospital with sharp pain in my lower ab and had bleeding and was told that they were signs of a miscarriage. Since then the bleeding has stoped and i no longer have sharp pains in my lower ab, and feel that because of the threatening miscarriage i should be seeing more othen instead of every 4 weeks. I have only seen a specilist once and that was 2 months ago and my midwife said i dont need to see the specilist until im 32 weeks. This is my first pregnancy and im not sure if the midwife i have should be doing more or if im just stressing out about nothing. So if anyone can help with passing on phone numbers or advice it be highly appreciated.

Hi there, firstly congrats on the twins! If I were in your situation I would probably try and book in with an Obstetrician instead of a MW as they have that extra bit of medical knowledge and are more used to dealing with non straight forward pregnancies... good luck!
