We are completely stuck for boys names and need help. We have several girls names picked, but no boys names. We need a first and middle name, and dont have any family names we want to use.
We like something not too common, but not so unheard of that people dont know how to spell/say it- had that prob when Isla was born, lol.
I want something that is masculine sounding.
The only boys name we both really like is Ryan- but doesnt go with our last name,...neither does anything ending with an 's' sound.
TIA!

The traditional names are less common now like james, thomas, matthew, peter which could be pete, andrew....
What about toby or Reece.
names like corban, riley, austin, callum, tyler, kaedyn, lucas e.t.c are all becoming really popular now.

We have this problem, we have one boys name. I do like it but I don't know if I want to use it. Why don't babies come out with names like cabbage patch babes did.
Ryan's a good name.....
What does your DH like? Maybe you can alter it a wee bit to make it someting you both like.

My fav boys names are James (Jamie), Andrew (Andy), Alex, Nicholas, we have a long family name so like ones that can be shortened easily.
Other options - Jeremy, Kieran, Hamish, Jonathan, Bradley, Robert
If we have a boy I'd really love to all him Andrew James either Andy or AJ for short.
Initials are important too.

Get a book, best thing I did, well i got several & DS1 was not named till he was born, Jordan, DH came up with while reading a name book in the hospital, I had always loved it, I was still coming to terms with him being a boy, ha ha.
I thought we were having a girl & we had a boy (did not find out) my second one I was so sure again is was going to be a girl, but no boy #2 same with the 3rd one, they all had girls names picked for them.
We were going to have Samantha for a girl but had a Samuel. Ty for the last one but took ages to pick the right name we could shorten to Ty & went with Tyler & love it.
When picking names I go for, sounds good with the surname, sounds cute as a baby, sounds solid when older & has no bad memories like kids you went to school with, hee hee
dam spelling,lol.

Yeah , to me its a girls name, but I know two people that named their boys Payton (but I think spelt Peighton and Peytn )
I hate all those grandparent names that are coming back in fashion , not my cup of tea , no offence to anyone good thing we don't all like the same sort of names , how boring that would be !

I love the nickname AJ. Were thinking of Aidan, but now we both only about 6/10 happy with it,..not sure which 'J' name for middle name tho,.....just would like to come up with more ideas so we. Might stick to Aidan if we cant agree on anything else tho!

I liked Keet for a boy but we had two girls and theirs not gong to be any more babies for us.
Other names I like are : Matthew, Henry, Ryan or Spencer. I'm sure there were others I thought about but I can't remember now. If we had two boys they would have been called Seth and Matthew.

I have a friend with a boy called Payton. Payton Manning is a big star in american football so name is becoming popular.
Umm, Eli, Leo, Hunter, Rylan, Sawyer, Deacon, Declan, Xavier, Beau were all on my list at some stage for boys.
Boys names are hard, esp as I teach at an all boys school - in one year 9 class I had 4 Olivers, 2 Toms, 2 Alexs and 3 Jacks - not cool!
I have a Macauley and Frano - not common names but not to weird - although heaps of people pronounce them both wrong

Isla and Aden
Do that , its fun , write down Isla then the name and say it out loud

" Caitlyn , Tyler and Ryan , come inside please !"
and if its a girl , it will be Elyse (ah-lees )
"Caitlyn , Tyler and Elyse, come have some dinner "

How about JOSHUA? I wanted that for a boy when Alia was born but obviously she's a girl LOL
DH also wanted AUSTIN (as in the city not as in Powers lol) but we already had an "A" name.
Another we had chosen but forgot about was FINN.
I wanted WILLIAM but with his middle name & our last name the initials were asking for trouble (WAR)
DH also wanted PEYTON but I said nope...too girlish & just cause it's the name of a sport star doesn't mean I like it. Surprised he didn't suggest BARRY after his favourite baseball player.
Oh & then to mention the name I would have loved to use but my cousin took it & then calls his kid by his middle name JAMES, this was the first name of my Grandfather who I adored. Cooper would have been a good James or Jimmy
God names are so emotive!
And then there are all the good names already taken by dogs that I know. HARLEY, CONOR, BILLY, ZAC, TOBIN, REUBEN, etc etc
