For Christmas pressie..... does anyone have any recommended websites/shops? I want good quality but not over the top expensive.
Also there's a website that does pandora style kiwiana beads - real cool ones like a kete, tiki etc. My google search hasn't found it, does anyone know what it is?
TIA

Evolve I think is the brand you are looking for. I can't remember the name of the jewelers that stock them.
eta: I remember. Christies Jewellers have the nz type beads.

SIL used to work for a jeweller so she can be a little fussy about jewellery . She gets her Pandora bracelet charms fro m Franich Jewellers In WestCity, Henderson. Their fixed beads are $41 (just bought one) and I think their charms were about $50/60+

my SIL works for a Gemtime jeweller that does Pandora so I normally get any beads from her. As far as I'm aware though, all the beads should be the same price everywhere. A plain sterling silver pandora bead is usually $35. Walker and Hall have a good website where you can create your own bracelet and purchase beads online.
I think I can remember her saying something about if you use the non-pandora beads that it will void your warranty or something like that (unless she said that they are likely to damage the bracelet).

If you buy 5 charms from Diamond Gallaria at the Manukau shopping mall you get the 6th for free! You can get an account so you dont have to buy them all at the same time.

Michael Hill do them also.
Chances of your bracelet being "ruined" by another brand of bead are slim to none... just a marketing ploy to get you to buy their stuff. And of it being ruined by any bead etc full stop - also slim to none, unless you are hard on your jewellery, then you wouldn't be covered by any kind of gaurantee anyhow... That also includes if you never take it off...
