Hello ladies,
I had a chemical pregnancy last cycle (BFP on CD28 and AF on CD33)..Iam now on CD30 and still no AF, as we weren't trying this cycle i didnt chart or do OPKs so no clue when i ov'd but for the last four days or so i thought i would take my temp just so i know when to expect AF
CD 27 - 37.0, CD28 - 36.69, CD29 - 37.02 and CD30 - 37.16 (pretty high as i have never gone above 37 even with previous BFP!)
Usually my temps start to drop 2/3 days before AF arrves so im pretty confused as to whats going on? oh and my cycle is usually 27-29 days
So did an IC this morning and glaringly BFN!.... any suggestions or opinions most welcome

you might be still too early to test with this preg hun some dont get faintys till like 17DPO, also you may have oc'd late this cycle because of the CHEM Preg....
If no AF by new years, id test again
Sounds promising to me hun, my temps arent even that high though they are during the day and they never go over 37 either
FX hun
ETA: a link to your chart might be helpful too?

sorry t41- i have no clue
maybe it's too early to test and you are utd this time, even without trying?
maybe keep testing with IC each morning and keep temping from now.
hopefully 'something' will show in the next few days.

My first cycle post mc was 6 weeks long and it was the first cycle i had charted (I was advised to wait 2 cycles before TTC again so thought it would help pass the time) my temps for that cycle were all over the place, really high and up and down, I can remember Emmi commenting on my massive temp spikes! So I would not worry hun, things will come back to normal

hmmmm ... how heavy was your af when it arrived last cycle? did you have any ewcm this cycle?
|

Date Posted: 29 December 2009 at 11:15am
it was pretty heavy and lasted for 6 days usually last just 4 days...and did have some ewcm around when i thought i ov'd...some creamy cm since then and weirdly enough i honestly thought AF was starting on cd27/28 because i got strong cramps but then she didnt show...

sweets, it took my body two months to sort itself out after my m/c. I know how frustrating it is, I really do. Maybe give it a week from when your period is "due" and test again. Your ticker isn't connected to your chart so I haven't been able to look at your temps yet.
*edit* I have you on my friends list so have now viewed it. It does look suspicially like you could be utd but because it is only your first cycle since m/c I would be more inclined to listen to birdie.

My DH was exactly the same! You have to find someone you can talk to about it- it's a really f**king difficult journey, I can definitely pledge to that!! It is not something that you just get over, it takes time, and then you're still never over it, it just gets easier. Hang in there sweets *kisses*

Oh hun, having a mc really sucks and men just don't get it, my doc said to remember that we will both feel differently about it ( me emotional, DH not!) he said don't try to understand it just know thats the way it is as we both cope diferently. As someone said on here once, us ladies bond with that second pink line on the HPT while men don't.
I would test again in a week if still no AF but would try not to worry about your temps as your body is just sorting itself out and getting ready to make another bubba.

Trying... looking at your chart it seems that its not possible to be UTD because of the BD timing....
Men can be sooo frustrating!! they do not get emotionally involved with TTC and seem to have the "it will happen when it happens" approach! When I got a BFN with the IVF my DP didnt react at all, so i had a very lonely grieving process... So you are not the only one Trying.... lots of hugs to you
Edited ... to correct grammar lol

i chose that day because i was checking CP and it was high and open and soft that day and one day prior and then tightly closed the very next day and has been since...also i had ov pains around then
yeah i thought the BD was off too shezzey, i guess we did BD on day of and day after ov but i didnt put it in because we used withdrawal method (DH was super paranoid about slipping up...not paranoid enuff to put a raincoat on but still paranoid)

From my experience (gawd, listen to me!!!), after a mc, and I have had 3 with one being a chem mc, it takes 6 weeks to get your AF again after the mc (whether eliminated through D&C or not), and that AF is usually not one to conceive on as it's quite sporadic. It's usually the 3rd one after the mc that is more promising, because the body needs time to re-adjust to no longer being pg and to settle again and get into the 'thought' of becoming pg again. That's why mw's and dr's all advise leaving TTC for 2-3 cycles after a mc.
Your body could play some nasty nasty tricks on you I am afraid - take my own experience here - I am pg again now (cycle 3 after mc), but on cycle 2 I was CONVINCED that I was pg, even nauseous and near-vomiting on my drive into work. It was a horrible horrible shock to get the blood test result saying it was BFN, I was absolutely convinced I was UTD. Gutting.
Best of luck - it's berluddy hard isn't it - I sympathise very much with you and would never wish any of this on my worse enemy.

well when I came off the pill I was literally all over the place - my first 2 cycles were around 42 days long and my temps didn't seem to be doing the right things either. I found it incredibly frustrating, not helped by the fact that nearly everyone I know got pregnant really easily...
It took us 4 months in the end, I used a program on my iphone which recorded temp, when we had sex, when/how heavy my period was and there were heaps of other things like CM etc. It's called FemCalLite if anyone is interested in using it.
I think what really helped me in the end was kind of relaxing about it, i'm sure all the stressing I was doing didn't help anything!
