I have checked back a few pages and found nothing so ...
Erynn has gotten REALLY good at kicking her blankets off and waking up at 4am freezing. So I am thinking grow bag/ go go bag is the way to go.
Can anyone give me advice on whether I should be going for a winter or summer weight. I had a think about the lady on Trademe who is selling them, has anyone else brought from her? What is the quality like? I am buying for twins so keeping the cost as low as possible is important!
Thanks heaps guys!

Our kids are in standard weight all year round (we live in Auckland), they day sleep in the summer weight, although even a summer weight is too much for Elias .. he is a hot blooded little thing!
We never needed a winter weight, so cant comment (sorrry)

I think you'd get the most use out of a standard weight one rather than a summer one (which is just cotton, no merino) or a winter one which is padded.
There are cheaper alternatives out there which are just as good as gogo bags, I personally prefer grobags but they aren't merino.

thanks guys. The ones the trade me ladt sells are one layer of marino and one layer of cotton. Is that the same as a standard gogo bag??

It would probably depend on the weight of merino she uses, but yes, a standard gogo bag is one layer of cotton on the outer and a layer of merino on the inside.

I just brought a 2nd hand Standard weight Go GO bag from TM for $47 :)
Now, I am renowned for over heating my kids So, just to get a little clarification on this - I wont need extra blankets on my girls? Just the Go Go bag, unless the temp drops below 18 degrees?

Yep no more blankets .. just the bag .. even if it gets cooler, you can just change what they have on underneath and you still shouldnt require extra blankets.

If you are wanting to keep costs down then I would get the lighter one as you can put as much on underneath as they need. We have one of each and I would reccommend one of each...however I dont have 2 babies to cater for (plus we are in the south island).

I was just doing the usual auction stalking and then bidding at the very last minute lol. But if you were looking for new ones then the lady I was looking at is shopaholic.9

I've bought a couple off that seller and have been really impressed with the quality. She also makes to order, if you don't see one you like. I got a winter and summer weight one. I don't use them anymore now she's older, but they have lasted really well.
I found that my daughter sometimes got abit hot in her merino last summer (in Akld) and so I used a light weight cotton (0.5 tog) grobag for the hot nights.
