My 1 year old DD seems to have totally gone off having a bottle of milk. I recently cut the bottle down to 2 from 3 and she was flat out refusing the afternoon bottle and now she seems to be having maybe 80mls max in the morning 1 hour or so after breakfast and then maybe 100mls at night before bed, it use to be 180mls in the morning and 240mls at night (the afternoon bottle was 180 but we dont have that at all anymore)
The morning bottle is usually cows milk and the night bottle is formula. She has rice bubbles with yoghurt, fruit and milk and a piece of toast for breakfast. Lunch would be a sandwich, fruit, cheese, cracker etc. and then a fairly big dinner (if she likes what I give her that is ) and dinner is sometimes followed by yoghurt. We dont have alot, if any snacks during the day.
My question is, should I be worried about her not wanting the milk and not getting enough. I cannot force her to have it so I just offer it and hopes she drinks some of it, but its just getting less & less.
TIA for any replies
edited to add she drinks alot of water during the day sometimes 400mls maximum

my miss 3 had totally weaned herself off bottles by about 13mths...she eats lots of yoghurt, cheese, smoothies etc and she is just fine.
Also dd is a huge water drinker and will drink that over anything else.
I wouldnt worry about it...she will drink what she needs

I wouldnt worry about it either, Caden sometimes only had one bottle a day, and now most days he only has one, and drinks truck loads of water!
Rice bubbles is a good idea! Ive never seen if Caden will eat them, he usually has a banana and toast for breakfast, but Im going to buy some rice bubbles now He is elarning how to use his spoon so that will good practice for him.

It sounds like Heidi is getting plenty of dairy from other sources, I wouldn't stress about going off drinking milk from a bottle
Callum is down to two milk drinks a day now too - 150ml cows milk from his sippy cup after breakfast and then almost 300ml formula before bed time, that one's still from a bottle. Some days he skips the morning one altogether. He drinks loads of water too (usually 100 - 180ml at each meal time plus more in between!).

Hi, don't worry too much! My bubs stoppped having bottles before she was one (and she always dropped a bottle before she was suppose to).
We have cows milk with rice bubbles in the morning, a watties banana cereal and toast. During the weekends (she goes to DC during the week) I give her cheese at snack times along with raisins or piklet/cheese puff.
Lunch is normally a sandwich with yoghurt or custard, fruit.
Dinner is meat with pumpkin and another vege with yoghurt/custard followed around 7.30 with another yoghurt/custard.
I am just getting her to have milk in a cup at snack times - as shes not that interested in it but she is great with water.
