My dad gave me some beans from his garden... they are purple but go green when cooked.

I cook mine 2 ways:
Either steam them while the potatoes are boiling or in a fry pan with a bit of butter and give them a couple of spins around (I quite like mine crunchy not cooked till they can stand up on their own) ------------- Mr Mellow (16) Miss Attitude (8) Destructa Kid (3)

I did some green beans the other day in the frying pan like Mel suggested, but I threw in some sliced garlic and a handful of pinenuts. They were yummy! -------------  Maya Grace (28/02/03)
